HELLO!! I have created this blog for people to be aware that using electricity damages our environment.  Well using electricity itself is not harmful to the environment but to produce electricity is harmful to the environment. The more electricity we use, the more pollution we are doing when electricity is being produced.  Electricity is harmful to the environment because when fossil fuels are burned, it creates carbon dioxide which caused pollution. Most electricity is produced by burning fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gases. Whenever fossil fuels are burnt they release carbon dioxide that has been stored in the fuel for millions of years. This carbon dioxide adds to the greenhouse gases in the environment that are contributing to global warming.
